MaxDuino Ultimate
MaxDuino Ultimate is an all-in-unit digital tape SD solution. It offers file support for all the different file formats supported by my firmware such as TZXduino and CASduino but in one device. It's based on an Atmege4808 chip and offers a lot more memory than an Arduino which our other devices are based on. Also allows it to support a myriad of retro computers. Below are just some of the computers it can support:
- ZX80/ZX81
- ZX Spectrum
- Oric-1 and Oric Atmos
- Dragon 32 / 64
- Tandy CoCo
- MSX
- Acorn Electron
- BBC Micro
- Amstrad CPC
- Jupiter Ace
Disclaimer: as it stands today Maxduino can be completely installed on a conventional Arduino, however, this device has 3 x the SRAM and 1.3 x the Flash of an Arduino Nano so you are future-proofing for later versions of Maxduino.

Now with options to XL the screen and case. If you opt for it we provide a USB cable but you will need a power source for the USB or buy one of ours. Any will do since it doesn’t require a great deal of power to run. When purchasing a microSD card do not get a cheap or a super-fast one like a class 10 card. Look for a class 4, 6, or 8. You will need a data cassette cable. If you don't want to buy one of our USB cables or UK PSU it requires a Mirco-B USB power source.
